Hello! How are you today? It feels so good to be back here ;) Today I will share with you my new idea using the woderful Sunshine On My Mind collection! We are going to make a very special mini album to keep all the memories from our summer adventures ;)

To prepare this mini album I used the Citrus Slice Cut File. I used as the base for my cover and for the structure. I prepared some cuttinf files for the structure and for the interior. I just drew a half circle based on the cut file (using my cutting plotter's layout program).

The final measurements of the cardboard pieces for my structure are: a- covers: 7 3/8" h x 3.78" w, b-spine: 7 3/8" h x 1 1/2" w.

Covers:

To prepare the frontal cover and the spine I used white cardstock. And for the back cover I used one of the design papers from the 12x12 Paper Pack.

Cover Decoration:

I cut 4 pieces using the Citrus Slice Cut File and white cardstock. For the back of one of the pieces I used one design paper from the 6x6 Paper Pack (you will need to use both pieces of the same design). I cut the piece marking all the way around the design and I glued it. I added 2 more layered pieces and left the last one to add vellum to it. This gave me a lovely smoky effect for the design paper.

Them I started to decorate it using some pieces from the Puffy Stickers, Ephemera Pack, Floral Ephemera Pack and some Garden Bouquet Gold Enamel Dots. For the closure, I used a golden ribbon.

When everything is ready, we can glue the pieces, form the structure and leave the cover ready.

Interior:

The inside binding is prepared with thin elastics that hold a double page each. For the pages I prepared a double cut file with the same design that I used for the structure. You cut them and you just have to fold them in half.

Now the most fun moment and that I like so much: to decorate! :) Love to combine all papers from the 12x12 Paper Pack (I prepared a small cutting file) and different pieces from the Puffy Stickers, Ephemera Pack, Floral Ephemera Pack, Acetate Ephemera Pack, Cardstock Stickers and the Mini Puffy Alpha.

 One of my favorite product to prepare the decoration was the Acetate Ephemera Pack. I think the pieces are amazing and great to combine them with other products like Cardstock Stickers. I left a lot of free space for photographs and other memorabilia.
