Hello everyone! Kerstin here today with a new layout inspiration feat. the amazing "The Simple Things" collection.This collection has lots of cute Embellishments and colors I want to showcase with this layout. I cut with my scissors, folded and glued. Let's get started!

 

For the stripes I used the gradient paper - All The Things - from the 12 x 12 Paper Pack. I chose the colors pink, green and yellow and cut the strips in a width of 2 inches and a length of 8 inches.

For the "stairs" I cut white cardstock in a width of 2 inches and a length of 12 inches. I folded at 1/2 inch. I attached the lower elements with liquid glue so that the "stairs" would lie flat. I chose different lengths for the "stairs". 

The little flowers on the B-side of the Small Joys paper from the 12 x 12 Paper Pack match the colors of the stripes wonderfully. Since I love my scissors so much, I cut out a few of these cute little flowers. I also picked out matching die cuts from the Ephemera Pack and added them with 3D Foam. 

I cut my photo to a width of 2 x 2 1/4 inches, folded it in half and stuck it to the center strip with double-sided adhesive tape. I played around with the different Ephemera like Puffy Stickers, Die Cuts from the Ephemera Pack, Cardstock Stickers, Enamel Dots. I have also included the cut-out flowers.

I love these cute little Die Cuts like scissors, brushes, strawberry or these little Puffy Stickers cherry!

I hope you like this layout and it inspires you to get creative with this fantastic "The Simple Things" collection. I really enjoyed it AND it won't be the last project I do with this collection.
