Hello dear Crafters ! Summer continues and flowers decorate our homes, and our scrapbooking !
Altenew & Pinkfresh Studio's Celebrate collection lends itself perfectly to our flowery desires !
I used it to prepare a little mini-album full of photos from an impromptu family weekend.
The cover is a box the album slips into, like papers in an office bin ! 😉 The box measures 3 inches in side and 1 in height. The album therefore measures 3X3 inches.
To connect the pages together, I just made 3 small holes in which I passed a white string tied on the edge.
On the embellishment side, I mainly used ephemeras from the collection.
On the cover, I cut the word Hello with a cutting die. These dies help to make the word stand out because you can also cut a larger outline to lay under the word… You know what I mean? 😊 A small flower adds the finishing touch to this simple cover.
For the 1st page, I wanted some text but I also wanted something soft, so I first layered a page, which allows the text to be guessed. To decorate it, I made my own ephemera by printing out the Folkheart cutfile that you will find on the Pinkfresh Studio Fans Group Facebook page ! I'm not lucky enough to have a cutting machine, but I found that heart so pretty ! So I printed it as an image after changing its color (thanks to the Gimp software).
The rest of the album is a succession of pages of patterned papers and white cardstock pages on which I pasted the black and white photos. The pages are decorated with ephemeras and a few dies.
Here ! A quick mini to do! 😉
Have a nice day PFS Fans !
