Hi everyone, it's Vicki here with my latest layout using the Days of Splendor collection which I have discovered can also be used for a rainbow layout despite not being traditional rainbow colours.
I started out with a piece of thick white cardstock and some of the ink cubes. Using the packaging technique, I created a rainbow across the page from left to right. The colours I used were Berrylicious, Coral Reef, Peach Fuzz, Ocean Breeze, Storm and Soft Lilac in that order. There is a process video on the Pinkfresh YouTube channel so that you can see how exactly I did this.
I cut all of the frames from the My Favorite paper and arranged the whole ones across the page in rainbow order and then stuck some of them flat to the page and others were raised on foam.
I then chose lots of embellishments from the ephemera, flora ephemera, cardstock stickers, puffy stickers, chipboard flair and enamel dots in tone on tone colours to decorate the page.
I also cut a couple of pieces from the Oh So Delightful paper for the purple side of the page.
I finished by mounting my photo on a fab piece of paper from the 6x6 paper pad which is a gradient blue to green and worked perfectly for the positioning of the photo. I do hope it gives you some inspiration for the Days of Splendor kit which you can buy in the Pinkfresh store or from your favourite online retailer. Thanks for looking! Vicki x
This is really an inspiration! I’m impatiently waiting for my collection to arrive; can’t wait to get to work with it!
