RAINBOW LAYOUT I KERSTIN SCHEIDLER

Hello together! Kerstin here with my last layout this year here on the Pinkfresh Studio Blog. Christmas is just over and we are taking big steps towards the new year - 2024! I always want to tell stories with my layouts. What kind of story can you tell between the years? 

Let's get started and I'll tell it! 

 

 

My story about this layout... I thought, I'm already looking ahead to the new year. You dream about what you will experience together, what might come your way or what wishes might come true. I used the magical HOLIDAY DREAMS collection. I unpacked my scissors and cut up papers and used embellishments and stickers. 

 

 

 

 I chose the Sweet Holiday paper from the Holiday Dreams: 12 x 12 Paper Pack. Stripes always work - don't they? I cut out the individual strips and trimmed the lower part with fringing scissors. I cut the colored strips into different lengths. I placed the amazing Essentials Glitter Cardstock: Glacier as an accent under the colored stripes - also with fringes. 

 

 

Above the glued-on strips, I glued on white cardstock with 3D Foam to cover the edge of the strips. I glued matching Holiday Dreams: Puffy Stickers, Holiday Dreams: Ephemera Pack and Holiday Dreams: Title Ephemera on top.

 

 

Below the stripes, I've added various matching Holiday Dreams: Title Ephemera - to go with my story. Of course, Holiday Dreams: Enamel Dots should not be missing either!

 

 

I made the title of my Rainbow layout with the cute Holiday Dreams: Mini Puffy Alphas. "May all your dreams come true" doesn't that go perfectly with a layout between the years, for a story between the years?
