NO RISK, NO MAGIC LAYOUT I KERSTIN SCHEIDLER

02 Apr 2024 0 Comments

Hello everyone! Kerstin here today with a 12 x 12 layout inspiration feat. the wonderful Making the Best of it collection. You might think that this collection is all about muted colors ... BUT she can also be really colorful! The paper No Risk, No Magic from the 12 x 12 Paper Pack just shouts - cut me!

You've probably already seen some projects with this amazing paper - I couldn't resist making something with it - sorry, not sorry! Let's get started!

I cut out the waves of the paper and shortened them to a length of 8 inches. To add contrast, I traced waves onto white cardstock and cut them out as well. I attached the individual elements with thin double-sided adhesive tape.

I used the different Making the Best of it: Cardstock Stickers, Making the Best of it: Floral Vellum Ephemera, Making the Best of it: Chipboard Flair, Making the Best of it: Ephemera to create a cluster in the top right.

I printed my photo in black and white so that it would look good in all the colors. You rarely see me on my layouts.... it fits perfectly with the memory I want to capture. I take photos of myself at the end of each month. This is the February photo. Maybe I'll do another project with a photo of me at the end of March!

I added various Making the Best of it: Puffy Title Stickers in matching colors and themes to the waves. I carefully bent the individual waves upwards.

AND, since spring is slowly coming (here in Germany anyway!) I stamped a big butterfly with the Butterflies Stamp Set on white cardstock and on Vellum with the Premium Ink Die Pad: Candy Apple and punched it out with the Butterflies Die.I have hidden my journaling under the right butterfly wing.

I hope you like my colorful inspiration with the amazing Making the Best of it collection and I can inspire you to get creative. Thanks for stopping by! See you next time! Kerstin xx
