MY STORIES MINI ALBUM I KERSTIN SCHEIDLER

MY STORIES MINI ALBUM I KERSTIN SCHEIDLER

25 Jan 2023 0 Comments

Hello! Kerstin here today sharing my new inspiration with you with the amazing CHRYSANTHEMUM collection from Pinkfresh Studio.Outside it's gray and gloomy and so I need color! The CHRYSANTHEMUM collection has a wonderful color palette that immediately creates a good mood! There are no papers in this collection BUT it is wonderful for scrapbooking. I have made in Mini album with it. Take a look!

Sometimes you don't need big pages to document an event, a celebration, or particularly wonderful experiences. I decided to use the CHRYSANTHEMUM Journaling Bits. I'll show you how I like to use it to hold my memories. And since I had time, I came up with the idea to make an acetate with pattern.

For the cover, I used plain cardstock and cardboard sized 4 x / 1/2 inch and 2 x 1 1/1 x 7 1/2 inch. I overlapped the solid cardstock to create small pockets.

I punched holes in the bottom of the CHRYSANTHEMUM Journaling Bits, sewed them down above and decorated them. For this I played the CHRYSANTHEMUM Ephemera Pack, CHRYSANTHEMUM Cardstock Stickers, CHRYSANTHEMUM Chipboard Flair and the CHRYSANTHEMUM Washi with the CHRYSANTHEMUM Die.

I arranged the cute little envelopes from small to large, gathered them together with a brad and attached them to the inside paper of my mini. Then I glued the inside paper in place.

The acetate you see here is painted with a white acrylic marker. For this, I placed a 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inch acetate on the CHRYSANTHEMUM stamp and repainted individual flowers. I arranged the different flowers so that the entire acetate is covered with flowers.

However, I wanted to add a "certain" touch to the painted acetate. For this I have sewn in the center of individual flowers two small beads.

This cute little mini can be stocked with amazing memories. I hope you like this idea and I can inspire you to make your own acetate and of course Mini album.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a wonderful time! See you next time!

Kerstin xx
