Mini House Gift Boxes | Ashley Bright
Hi all! Today I am sharing a new project featuring the new beautiful Keeping It Real collection. I was inspired by the images of the collection to make some packaging in the shape of houses.
I started with three patterned papers measuring 4 5/8" by 8 3/8." On the 4 5/8" side score at 3/8, 1 5/8, and 3 1/8." On the 8 and 3/8" side score at 2, 4, 6, and 8." I'll include a picture below of where you need to cut.
Once the base is done you can fold to assemble. Pinch the two sides of the top in as you fold to get your house shape.
Once assembly is done, it's time for the fun part of decorating! I used elements from the home sweet home cut file. I did this by ungrouping the cut file and shrinking the cuts way down. It's a little extra, but I just love dainty little details like this!
I then used puffy stickers, enamel dots, and fussy cut images to add little touches to each box. I wrapped them shut with some matching twine.
If you can't tell, I am a sucker for cute packaging! It just takes little gifts to the next level. Luckily, this was made easy with the pretty colors and florals in the Keeping It Real collection. I hope you are inspired to check out the collection!
