Loving this travel Mini Album | Susi Becerra

Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends! It's Susi here! I'm so happy to be here today sharing with you my very first project using the new SIMPLE THE BEST collection from Pinkfresh Studio. It's perfect to document a travel! We are going to use this collection besides the Essentials: Mini Slimline Envelope Die Set.

I love to create mini albums with envelopes and pockets where you can keep your memories. Are you ready?

Let's get started!

COVERS: We are going to cut two pieces of cardboard of 4 1/2" w x 7 1/2" h and cover both pieces using white cardstock.

To decorate your cover  you need to make three paper planes. I chose the blue strip from Happy Fun paper to create them. Next, arrange them in your cover and sketch the loops on the background  with a pencil. Then we pierce the holes and we eraser the lines. Then, the fun starts! I chose a mint thread to stitch the loops. When the cover was embroidered I glued the planes and chose embellisments to match the colors. I used Puffy stickers, enamels ant the Puffy Alpha Stickers from the collection.

When you have finished the cover set aside the cover and backcover.

SPINES: We are going to need two pieces of  the  "Be Bold" paper:

- 1 piece of 4" w x 7 1/2" h

-1 piece of 5"w x 7 1/2" h

Score both pieces: 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 1 3/4", 2", 2 1/4", 2 1/2", 2 3/4", 3"

Next, assemble the covers and the spines: Glue the first spine (4"x 7 1/2" ) at the 1" mark on the cover and the 3" mark on the backcover. Next add the second spine to the backcover. Finally, add the ribbon and cover both covers using the Hangout paper.

PAGES: first off, we are going to use the Miini Slim Envelope die set to create four envelopes. Papers used: side B iconic, Happy Times, Truly Epic and Just Chill.

For the pages you need to cut four pieces of white cardstock of 8 374"w x 7"h.

Score in 4 1/4", 4 1/2". You have to glue them together to form an accordion.

TIP: You can leave a pocket between pages to add tags and more photos.

It's time to decorate the pages. I love this part of the process! First, we are going to create four pockets for the envelopes. Choose your favourite papers. Next, we are going to cut papers from the collection to cover the rest of the pages.

To decorate the pages we are going to use the embellisments from the collection: puffy stickers,Ephemera pack, Chipboard Flair, Chipboard Frames, Journaling Bits..

Once the accordion is complete decorated, you can glue the structure to the interior of the mini album. I love how it looks! It's amazing and with a lot of space for our travel memories.

TIP: To close the flap of the backcover I used two adhesive pieces of velcro.

To add the ribbon on the backcover I used a Puffy Sticker.

I hope you liked! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! See you next time!
