LOVE CRAZY TIMES WITH YOU | JOSEFINE VD HOEVEN

Hello Paperlovers, Welcome to the Pinkfresh blog today. It's Josefine here sharing  my first scrapbook layout with you using the beautiful products designed by Pinkfresh. For this mixed media layout I used the following products, Washi tape English garden, Washi tape Painted Peony and dies. Ink cube pack Over the Hills Ink cube pack Fairy Dust Stamp Celebrate and dies I used some Celebrate ephemera and some bits and pieces from the Happy Blooms collection.

I started with the mixed media background. I used a cleaning sponge and created a background with the different colors from the ink cube pack " Fairy Dust". I used a little bit of water and mixed with the ink to create a watercolor look. To protect the paper from the water, I first used some gesso on the background.

When I'm finished with the mixed media background I stamp twice with the flower from the stamp set celebrate in a light pink color on the mixed media section. It just looks like a watermark now and I love it.

Now it's time to decorate my layout. First, I start with the washi tapes, I adhered each of the washi tapes down on a white piece of cardstock and ran them trough the die cutting machine with their coordinating dies. Totally in love with these gorgeous pieces!

I cut design paper to size from the "Happy Blooms" collection and placed it behind the black and white photo of me and my hubby. On both sides of the picture I make a cluster of paper and die-cuts. I mixed the Celebrate collection with the Happy blooms. I used my sewing machine to add a stitch element to some of the pieces of paper.

The cutfile designed by Pinkfresh I colored with the green ink cube set "Over the Hills" I used my blending tool for this to blend the colors nicely. I also incorporated hidden journaling next to my photo.

I love how well the cute file fits into this theme. Everything comes together so nicely and the different collections combine so well. I'm happy how this layout turned out.

Here one more shot of this layout...

I want to thank you for stopping by the blog today and I hope I was able to inspire you with this mixed media scrapbook layout with hidden journaling. I hope to see you next time with my new post!
XoXo,
Jo
