Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends! It's Susi here sharing with you a new project. Today we are going to create a super fun Layout mixing the Flower Market and Spring Vibes collections and using the gorgeous Nested Arches Die, Around the Shape: Arches Stamp and Nested Arches Hot Foil.
The idea is to create rainbows taking advantage of the shape and different sizes of die.
Let's get started!
We are going to use the following items:
White cardstock and thread
First off, we are going to draw on a white cardstock clouds and cut out them. Make different sizes so you could organize them as you like. If you prefer you can use a cutfile or die to create the clouds. Once you got the clouds we are going to stitch them with a normal backstitch using white thread.
TIP: You can make a fake sewn using a pen or use the Fuse tool to create it.
Now, we are going to pick patterned papers from the collections and we are going to die them in different sizes. Don`t forget to die white cardstock to combine with the patterned papers. The next step is print your photo and cut it in arch shape.
We already have all the elements for the layout prepared so here comes the fun part! We are going to create three rainbows combining the patterned papers, foiled arches and white arches. I love to add layers on my layouts so I used 3D foam between the arches.
Remember to stamp phrases from the Arches Stamp on the white arches.
Next, we are going to arrange the three rainbows on the center of the base of the layout and we are going to add vellum leaves creating a diagonal with our central rainbow and the photo.
After that, we are going to arrange the clouds. Use foam or cardboard to create different heights or levels.
Next, I picked some pieces from the gorgeous Spring Vibes: Floral Ephemera pack to decorate the rainbows.
To finish, I use the Chipboard Frames from the collections to create little rainbows: Cut in half the circle frames and glue them creating a raimbow. For the title I used the Title Ephemera from Spring Vibes collection.
I really love how this layout turned out! I hope you liked it and inspires you! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! See you next time!
