Joyful Day Memories and Mixed Media

Joyful Day Memories and Mixed Media

14 May 2019 0 Comments

Hello Pinkfresh friends!  Lorilei here today sharing two layouts I made using the Joyful Day collection by Pinkfresh Studio!  It always amazes me, how many pages can be made from one collection, Joyful Day is super versatile and goes with so many photos and stories!

My first layout features blues & greens from the collection.  I started with a white background and added some puddles of paint.  The puddles ended up being the perfect spot to add both of my photos.  I had printed two sizes, to see what worked better, but ended up using both!

I love the Joyful Day Paper Clips in this collection and added the green pinwheel paperclip to my larger top photo.  I embellished this area with Joyful Day Puffy Stickers and a frame.

Next up was to make a spot for the gorgeous puffy sticker phrase in green, I decided to put it on an angle for a little extra added interest.  I used the blue puffy alpha to finish off my title.  I love a Pinkfresh scripty font alpha!

To finish off the layout I added stickers and enamel dots and more puffy stickers.  I added a frame to the smaller photo to make it stand out and found another pinwheel in the Joyful Day Die Cut pack!

My second layout features Joyful Day, Embroidered Blossoms Stamp Set and the Adore Alpha Stamp Set.

I began the layout with some messy watercolor paint puddles and splatters.  I let the paint fully dry and got out my stamp sets.  I had a rough idea of where my photo would be placed.  I stamped the "you" in my title first and then stamped the remaining ink randomly on the page. I did the same technique with the floral stamps for a messy look!

Once the ink was all dry, I added the puffy alpha letters to spell "love."  The blue didn't go well with the look I had in mind, so I used a tiny brush and some black gesso to paint the letters! I adhered my photo and began embellishing.  I chose pink/orange frames, two of the layered embellishments, cardstock stickers, and puffy stickers.  I kept everything in the pink and orange shades.

To finish the layout, I added some black paint sprinkles and a few more stamped blossoms!  It is a messy layout, but I love it!

Thanks so much for joining me today!  Be sure to check out Joyful Day and the gorgeous Pinkfresh Studio stamp sets!
