Indigo Hills 2 layouts featuring Pinkfresh Studio cut files

10 Jan 2019 0 Comments

Hello friends!

It's Jung here with you again, and today I am sharing 2 layouts I created with the Indigo Hills 2 collection and a couple of free cut files that you can access on our Pinkfresh Studio Friends & Fans Facebook group.

For my first layout, I used the Mandala snowflake cut file.  I thought they looked really pretty as flowers, so I used them on a layout of my 2 year old.

I cut the cut file on white cardstock, and instead of piecing it back together, I separated the pieces.  I used the outer edge, and the very inner piece.  I like how there 2 different flowers, and there are 6 flowers instead of 3.  I added some watercolor splatters onto my layout (I used bubblegum, sapphire, and lavender), then glued on the flowers.  I was careful to only add glue to the center, so I could fluff up the petals.  I also liked having a couple of the flowers hang off the edge.

I added my title using the mini puffy alpha stickers.  My little one is She is 100% sugar & spice (maybe more spice than sugar on some days, ha!).

I embellished my layout with flowers I fussy cut from the Glen paper, some chipboard hearts, puffy stickers, enamel dots, and the layered hearts embellishments that I made.  I hope you guys aren't sick of my layered hearts yet, because I love them, lol!

For my second layout, I used the 2019 Leaves & Lights cut file.  It was the perfect cut file to use with the photo of my 2 younger daughters on New Year's Eve.

I backed all the open elements with pattern paper, then adhered them to a light pink cardstock with foam squares.  I matted the pink cardstock on the Valley paper, then stitched around the edges.

I nestled my photo above the 19.  I embedded it with some pieces from the ephemera pack, some puffy stickers, and enamel dots.

I also created another embellishment cluster to the top left of the layout, because it was looking a little unbalanced.

I really like how my layouts turned out, and the cut files make such a big impact on these layouts!  I really hope you'll check out the Indigo Hills 2 collection, the free cut files, and our FB fan page.

Thanks for stopping by!
