Today I am excited to bring you my first two projects using the brand new Home for the Holidays collection. My first project also features the new Pinkfresh Studio ink cubes that I know you are just going to love! They are coming soon to the shop so be on the look out! My first project is a 12x12 layout and I started with a piece of white cardstock and applied some gesso. I knew I wanted to play around with the inks a little so I prepped my cardstock.

I pulled some of the ink cubes that I thought went best with the collection in the shades of green, red, blue and a little bit of yellow. I applied the ink pad directly to an acrylic block and added some water with my paint brush. I began to splatter all around my page with each color. I love the look of all the splatters on the page and this look was easy to achieve and not to messy.

Once all the ink was dry I started on my design. This layout did not turn out how I had originally planned in my head but I do love the final layout.

I decided to use the snow globe elements from the collection as the main focus of the layout. I used one of them as a frame for my photo! I love how you can build your own snow globe and add different pieces to get the look you are going for. You can see my full process video today on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel, or watch it below.

Here is a look at my completed layout using the Home for the Holidays collection and some of the brand new Pinkfresh Studio ink cubes.

For my second project I decided to do a simple mini album. I pulled out the Essentials Diagonal stitched rectangle die set from Pinkfresh Studio. I cut out some pieces on plain white cardstock and also some from the pattern paper. I used my favorite hole punch to punch holes in the corners of all my papers and added them to a rose gold ring.

When I create mini albums I like to add all the pages to the ring and then start to embellish and add my photos. I cut apart the Happy Holidays paper from the collection as well so that I could add some of these great cut aparts to my album.

I added some stitching with my sewing machine to a lot of the pages. I love the look of the stitching and all the threads in this album. I also created some pockets and flip outs to add more photos and journaling.

I added die cuts, puffy stickers and enamel dots from the Home from the Holidays collection all through the album. This collection comes with a ton of coordinating embellishments and you can pick them all up in the Pinkfresh Studio shop!

Here is a look at my completed album! I love that there are different sized pages, tags and ephemera pieces!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope this post left you inspired to create something with the new Home for the Holidays collection. Remember to stop by the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel for even more inspiration and check out our Facebook group! Have a great day!
