Holiday Dreams Layout | Susi Becerra
Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends! It's Susi here today sharing with you my very first project using the gorgeous Holiday Dreams collection! Christmas time is here! YAY!
I made a 12 x 12 scrapbook page and the beautiful Christmas Tree patterned paper was my inspiration to create it!
Let's get started!
First off, I cut all the leaves out from the paper. Be patient! Next, I stamped in green and blue the Snowflakes background stamp and cut them using the coordinating die. I used Evergreen and Slumber ink cubes from Pinkfresh Studio.
Then, I arranged all the leaves and snowflakes on the base of the layout forming a wreath.
Next, I added elements from the Puffy Stickers and created a fun 3D paper Christmas ornaments. To make them punch out six circles for each ornament, then fold them in half. this will make it easier to later glue all the pieces together. Grab your first circle. Lay glue down on the top half of the circle. Grab another folded circle and place it directly over your first glued circle. Press them together firmly so they'll stick. Keep layering glue on your half circles until you have finished gluing all 6 pieces together.
Your half circles all glued together should look like a little book. Along the edge with all the folds, add glue and attach a string. Now you can open up your 3D paper Christmas ornament and add it to the layout.
I used a piece from Titles Ephemera pack to create the title of tjhe layout. I arranged the photo on the center and added little details ( enamel dots, tag...) To finish, I created a bow using strips of patterned paper and I added a red strip of paper on the botttom of the layout.
And that's all. I hope you liked and inspires you. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! See you next time!
Merry Chritsmas!
