Hello everyone and a big welcome back to the Pink Fresh Studio blog. Today I am sharing with you a layout inspired by this month's challenge mood board and the new Celebrate collection which is a collaboration between Pink Fresh Studio and Altenew.

To create this layout I firstly began by mounting my photo. Doing this first always helps me get into the scrapping groove especially when my mojo is low.

I then fussy cut the large flowers and using the excess from the large flower patterned paper tore an edge and adhered it lightly to the page.

Then using some off cut pieces I added a double torn edge at the top and bottom of when the large flower cluster would sit.

Then I adhered the large grey leaves to the base page and using my sewing machine stitched a zig zag pattern along the left side of the large torn piece and on the right side of the two smaller torn pieces. This adds a little texture to your layout and helps to bring it all together.

I then adhered the large flower cluster to the photo and stitched a small scolloped edge die cut onto the photo. I then adhered it all to the base page and added my title to the cluster. I love how it turned out.

Then using some die cuts I created a little cluster in the top right hand side of the photo. This features a secondary title which I find fun to include on projects at times.

I decided then to use some glossy accents to help bring the flowers and leaves together. I didn't cover everything with glossy accents but just outlined the flowers and the leaves. I also added a little blob of glossy accents to the centre of three of the flowers and added some clear glass beads. This is another way to help bring the flowers and your layout to life.

To finish off I added some splatters of watered down white gesso, making sure that I covered the photo while doing it so I did not get too many splatters on the photo.

I hope my layout has inspired you to create a layout inspired by this months mood board challenge and to check out the Celebrate collection.

Happy Scrapping

Lauren xx
