Happy Holidays Layout | Susi Becerra
Hello everyone! It's Susi here today sharing with you a new Christmas project. Today we are going to use a new product from Pinkfresh Studio to create a layout. It's the beautiful " Holiday Ornaments" layering stencils set and the Holiday Ornaments die set.
The stamps and layering stencils are great to use in our layouts and customize our ornaments. Along this beautiful set I've also used the "Holiday Magic" collection available in the shop.
Are you ready? Let's get started!
We are going to need white and red cardstock. The red cardstock is only for background use, but if you decide not to use it will be fine.
First off, we'll ink up the Christmas balls using a ink blending brush along with Ballet Slipper ink, Sky Blue, Misty Coast and Clementine inks.
Use a thick cardstock to get some "chubby" die cuts.
To ink up the branches I used Evergreen ink, Ballet Slipper and Clementine ink.
Let's start putting together the layout! I arranged all the branches and Christmas balls on the top of the base of the layout using foam 3D to add dimension. I also fussy cut leaves from one of the papers from the Holiday Magic collection.
I chose a black and white photo to stand out it from the entire composition. I added a paper border from the collection. To create the composition I layered a frame from the Chipboard frames, some branches, puffy and cardstock stickers. I also added a pink Christmas ball.
The title was made with the beautiful "Thrill of hope" stamp set and popped up with a little foam tape.
I also used the Chipboard Alpha from the collection to create Fa la la. To add a bit of sparkle I adhered the Metallic gold pearls. I love it!
To finish you can add baker twine. It's a fun touch!
Happy crafting and I'll see you back here soon!
