"Hi Everybody! Emilie Chamel here and I am so excited to be guest designing for Pink fresh Studio today! I have created two layouts using the stunning Happy Blooms Collection, are you ready to see them? Let's go!

SPECIAL:

The pattern papers in this collection are all unbelievable and I wanted to find a way to feature as many of them as possible without being overwhelming.

I cut-out 6 stripes 2 inches wide and lined them up on white cardstock. I glued them making sure I only placed glue in the centre of the stripes. I then ran the background through my sewing machine stitching alongside the two long edges of each stripes.

I ruffled-up the edges of each stripe alongside the stitched lines and it was then time to build-up the layout.

I mounted my photograph on pink patterned paper and layered it with two tags from the journaling bits pack.

I decorated with several floral ephemeras and added touches of colour with the enamel dots.

LIFE AT HOME WITH YOU

For my second layout I wanted to concentrate again on the beautiful papers and ephemeras. I used the "Together" sheet as my background and layered cut-out pieces of patterned paper as well as my mounted photograph on it. 

I decorated around it with the floral ephemeras as well as some word ephemeras.

My title was created with the ephemeras words as well as the puffy alphas and puffy mini alphas. A few added puffy florals helped to add even more interest.

I finished off by tearing the top and bottom of my layout and backing it with stripes of B-side from the patterned paper "Cottage". you can find a full process video here on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/1y-u1_oUul0
