We are so excited to announce our October scrapbooking guest, Anna Komenda! We introduced her on Instagram when our October challenge went live, and today we have her full post! She has created some amazing projects using our Indigo Hills 2 collection for you today! But first, how about we get to know her a little better?

Introduce yourself to our readers with a short bio:

Hello friends. My name is Anna Komenda and I live in Poland with my hubby and two daughters. I am 35 years old but I feel like 20 at most :) I am a geologist but I changed my love for stones and minerals for becoming stay-at-home mom when my first daughter was born. I love reading books, watching Netflix, traveling and spending time with my family. Here are few random facts about me: I love roller coasters, I am afraid of flying, I am a dog person, I love seaside and I wish to live near the beach, I hate winter.

What inspired you to start paper crafting?

I started scrapbooking almost 10 years ago, after we welcomed my first daughter into this world. Suddenly I had so many precious pictures I wanted to put into albums with some journaling. I started searching on-line for some ready to go albums and this is how I found out about scrapbooking. Instead of buying premade album I decided to make one myslef. I bought my first, simple supplies and that is how my adventure started. I would never have suspected that it will change my life in so many, great ways.

What best describes your paper crafting style?

Colors! I love colorful designs, with a lot of patterns and textures. My favorite mixed media products are watercolors and I love playing with them creating unique backgrounds for my layouts. Rainbow order always makes me happy. I love all the pretty embellishments, especially chipboard stickers and ephemera pieces.

What draws you to Pinkfresh Studio products?

Pinkfresh Studio products are so unique and different than any other scrappy products out there. The quality is always excellent and I love how thick the papers are. Designs are fresh and graphic, full of colors and fun patterns. This is soemthing I always appreciate with any collection. I love the variety of embellishments and materials used to make them.

Please list your top 5 current Pinkfresh Studio Products.

I like Mix no 2 puffy hearts and stars. They are a perfect match with every project I make. I also love the variety of puffy alpha stickers. My number 1 collection was "Let your heart decide" and I still have many items from it hoarded in the box. I was a big fan of "Indigo hills" collection and I was so happy to see the sequel of it released few weeks ago.

What is your very favorite color combo?

Raibow order is always the best choice. I love combining yellow, mint and pink. I almost do not use "Earth tones" like  beiges, browns.

What is one tip you have for someone just getting started in paper crafting?

Go on YouTube! This is a goldmine of scrappy ideas and free tutorials. Shop smart. Before you purchase the collection, give yourself time to think about how useful it will be for you. It will save you a lot of frustration trying to work with the stash of products you don't even like after all and have no photos to use it with.

Anna has created some really beautiful projects, so let's get right to them!

Up first is this diecut & fussy cut beauty! That grid of hearts is just amazing, don't you think?

Her second layout has this GORGEOUS mixed media background! The colors are SO bold, but we love how soft & dreamy it looks with all the elements layered to the top of it. This layout has some serious wow factor!

Thank you for creating these amazing layouts, Anna!! We asked Anna one final question, which we think is super fun to include in her guest design post!

Do you have a past favorite project you've created with Pinkfresh Studio product that you'd like to share? Why is it your favorite?

I really like this page with a pictures from our trip to Grasse in Provance. It's a simple layout, with a background created with Pinkfresh Studio watercolors and I love how it turned out. It proves you don't need much of papers and embellishments to make great pages.

{P.S. This is the exact layout that caught our eye by Anna as well! It's SO gorgeous!}

Thank you for all the amazing projects & inspiration today, Anna! We are so honored to have had you on as a guest this month.
