Grown with Love Layout | Susi Becerra
Hello everyone! It's Susi here today sharing a new 12 x 12 scrapbook layout using the "Happy Blooms" collection from Pinkfresh Studio. This collection has everything that I love, flowers, butterflies, soft colors... It's so sweet and beautiful!
To make the layout we are going to need a 12 x 12 white cardstock and the "Together" patterned paper from the collection.
First of all, I cut to 8 1/2 x 12 inches the patterned paper and scored it at 1/2 - 1 - 1 1/2 - 2 inches. I folded the scored lines and made holes in the middle of the folds to attach them with pink thread.
Next, I glued the paper on the base of my layout. To add texture I used zigzag stitch to sew on the right edge.
Now, It's time to create butterflies. Among all the new Pinkfresh Studio products the butterflies layered stencils are my favorites, so I took out the inks, Butterflies layering Stencil Set and Small Butterflies layering Stencil Set and I got to work.
First, I embossed the big butterfly using the Butterflies Stamp Set. Next, I used Ballet Slipper, Sparkling Rose and Raspberry Bliss inks to make the butterfly.
To make the small butterflies I used Fresh Pear, Olive and Evergreen inks.
I cut all the butterflies using the Butterflies Die and Small Butterflies Die. I also used the Butterflies Die to cut vellum that I placed on the big Butterfly. I think using vellum you get a very sweet and delicate touch.
I mounted my photo on the Daydream patterned paper from the collection and embellished it with die cuts from Ephemera Pack . I used foam adhesive to give it dimension.
To finish I used the blank space to add my journaling. To add more texture I sewed a vertical line using my sewing machine and white thread.
The Essentials:Jewels Mix on the big butterfly and paper give it the final touch.
I hope you liked it. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day! See you next time!
