Fall Layout with Days of Splendor | Erica Thompson

Fall Layout with Days of Splendor | Erica Thompson

Hey friends! Erica here with you today to share a layout I created inspired by the Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge.

I pulled the colors from the challenge image and you can find all the details on this months challenge HERE. I started with a freebie fan cut file that you can find in the Pinkfresh Studio Fan Facebook Group! I will also be using a few of the leaves from the Autumn Leaves cut file available on the website.

I started by backing the cut file with papers from the Days of Slendor 6x6 paper pad. Once it was backed I added foam adhesive to the back to pop it off my background page. For the background I used the Oh So Delightful 12x12 paper and I love the pretty detail that goes around the page.

I am documenting some photos of our 3 youngest boys! I am so thankful for all our babies and love how close these three boys are. This is one of my favorite moments our photographer captured this year from our fall family photos.

I used different floral ephemera to embellish around the layout. I love to create different clusters around the cut file. Some are adhered directly to the page and some are popped up with foam adhesive to add some dimension.

I used one of the Days of Splendor Stitched Elements to add to the center of the A in the word Fall. I love the interest it adds to the page and that little bit of texture from the stitching.

To finish off my layout I added in some of the Days of Splendor enamel dots and my typed journaling. I hope you enjoyed my layout today and that you will join us in this months challenge. Have a wonderful day!
