Hi lovely Pinkfresh friends, thank you for joining me today! This page features the beautiful and cozy collection Days of Splendor and the Hot air balloon cutfile, you can find in the shop!
This cutfile of the hot air balloon is so cute with the buntings and tiny basket, I really liked it for a baby layout. I cut it out 3 times in different sizes. I backed the cutfiles with papers from the 6x6 paperpad.
The background paper is called 'Simply magical' and is this beautiful ombre teal color with a grid pattern. It immediately reminded me of a night sky. Together with the hot air balloons it was a no-brainer that my title would have something to do with dreaming.
The cutfiles are taking up so much of the layout, I wanted to keep the rest simple.
I used vellum and a white doily to back my picture. Then I picked a few pieces from the cardstock ephemera, like the floral and leaves. I also cut out a few parts from both sides of the paper 'Totally splendid' and used a notebook borderpunch to add another texture behind my picture. The label is from the cardstock stickersheet and is perfect for a little journaling.
With the mini alphabet I created the title. I chose the letters with the warmer colors, so they would stand out on the teal background.
The essentials jewels in white are a perfect representation of stars in this sky. I love how they add sparkle and shine.
Hope you enjoyed this process and that you will try out this gorgeous new collection! Have a nice day, XO!
