Happy New Year Pinkfresh Studio friends!

Nathalie with you today to start a year filled with inspiration, and what better way to start than to celebrate the little moments of our everyday lives.   If there is something, I learned from 2020 is to be grateful for the little things, and today I want to show you how I combined the beautiful Celebrate collection with the Essentials Ornate  Oval Frame Die in a new layout.

I love the color palette of the collection!  For this page, I chose a blush cardstock for the background.  Here I used  a bit of Rocky Slope and Metropolis Premium dye inks and  an ink blending tool to add a bit of color to the background.   A few splatters of gold and white ink  just add more interest to the background! 

While the background dried, I used the Essentials Ornate Oval Frame Die to create four frames from some of the Celebrate collection's papers.  I also cut frames from white cardstock which  I used to add dimension to the patterned paper frames.  I glued three of them - on a row- to the background using foam adhesive, then filled the empty center space with the negative piece (white oval pieces) of the white diecuts.

I fussy cut some flowers from the Celebrate 6x6 paper pad and 12x12 patterned papers and mixed them with a few pieces of ephemera to create the floral clusters on the frames.  I used extra pieces stickers, ephemera pieces and puffy stickers from the Let's Stay Home, Days of Splendor, The Good Life and Office Hours to bring little sentiments to each of the clusters.

I used the last die cut to frame my picture.  I added a bit of foam adhesive to attach atop of the frames.  Since I have lots of flowers on the page already, I used the Artistic Bow Die set to create a vellum bow for the picture.  To finish the page, I combined alphas from Let's Stay Home and The Good Life collections to create my title of this page.

I used a few of the Essentials: Crystals Mix to add a bit more shine to the page.  Just love the shimmer they add to the projects.
