Creatig Festive Paper Tassel Garland with Festive Fun

Hello Pinkfresh Studio frieds! Today I'm sharing a Christmas layout featuring the beautiful Festive Fun collection . For this project, I wanted to create something playful and dimensional using the 6x8 paper pack, and I decided to make paper tassel garlands the main feature of my design. The best part is that these tassels are easy to make and a wonderful way to use your favorite patterned papers. Let me walk you through the process.

Step-by-Step

1- Cut your patterned paper strips. I used the 6x8 paper pack from Festive Fin collection. Start by cutting strips of paper 1 inch wide. Take Esch strip and make small spaced cuts along one long edge, leaving a narrow uncut section at the top. Be careful not to cut all the way through the paper, as this uncut section will hold the tassel together .

2- Roll your paper tassels. Apply a little adhesive along uncut edge, then carefully roll the strip onto itself, keeping the top edge aligned. Repeat the process until you have a lot of tassels in different patterns.

3- Assemble the garlands. Once all your tassels are ready , thread them out to create a beautiful paper garland . I made two garlands and arranged them in gentle curves across my white cardstock background, creating a festive layered effect.

4-Add the photo, title and embellishments . To finish the design, I added my photo, the title and decorated the layout with festive stars, little Christmas lights and other embellishments from the collection. Finally , I added a few colorful details and patterned paper strips along the bottom of the page.
