Days of Splendor | Vicki Parker

Hi everyone, it's Vicki here today to share my very first layout using the Days of Splendor collection which you can currently find in store at your favourite online retailer. I am totally loving those fall colours!

I started with the Moments that Matter paper and cut chevrons from it which I then arranged on both sides of my page, slightly offset. Before sticking down, I used my edge distresser to add some additional texture to the edges.

I used some watercolour paints to make a mustard yellow - I mixed Sunshine with a little Espresso to do this. I added a little where my photos would go to add some colour behind them.

To layer my three photos, I used one of the envelopes in the Journalling Bits along with some florals from the Floral Ephemera, a couple of Chipboard Flair and a Puffy Sticker.

I finished with some jewels from the Jewels Mix and the title from the Ephemera pack. I am really loving how this layout turned out - the kit has such beautiful colours that I just want to keep looking at it. Thank you so much for looking, I hope it brings you some inspiration. Vicki x
