Cut File Inspiration using Super Cool and Noteworthy | Erica Thompson
Hey friends! Erica here with you today to share 2 new projects and process videos! We have some new cut files in the Pinkfresh Studio shop so make sure to head on over and check them all out. Also if you are not part of your Facebook group make sure to check it out for tons of inspiration and great freebie cut files! For my first layout I used the Cool Backpack cut file. I cut it out on some white cardstock and backed it with papers from the Super Cool collection.
I had some left over frames cut out from a previous layout using the Hashtag paper from this collection. I used the three frames I had to mat photos of my son on his first day of Junior Year. We always get first day photos before they head off to school and always one with their backpacks on.
He wore the most colorful shirt and shoes on the first day so I wanted to make sure I added that in my journaling since I printed my photos out in black in white.
I added journaling to the backpack cut file and included my title using the Super Cool Puffy Alpha Stickers.
You can check out my process video on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel HERE.
For my second layout I created a layout for the April challenge.
I used the Leafy Fantasy cut file cut out on some white cardstock. I used some of the Pinkfresh Studio watercolors to add some color to my background and also some white acrylic paint to add white splatters.
I used papers from the Noteworthy collection to cut out a hexagon shape on my Silhouette cameo. I added my photo and layered up different embellishments from the collection to frame my photo.
I love the interest the cutfile gives to the background. You can check out my process video HERE on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel. Thank you so much for stopping by today.
