Christmas family layouts with Anna
Hello, Anna is here today to share with you my Christmas layouts I made with new amazing collection December Days! I am absolutely in love with the color scheme and all patterns and embellishments. This set is really great for all kinds of paper crafting this winter. And I started with two layouts. It is not Christmas yet, so I picked two photos from one of the previous years. It is New year 2012/13, and my baby had her first Holiday day that time.
My first layout for today I called 'Taste of Christmas'. It was really sooo funny, when she tried the ornament for a tooth! I wanted to make something soft and light but with the 3D elements and dimensions.
For the background I took 'Starry Night' sheet. For the main decorations I die cut some trees of 6x6 paper pad (I used the coordinating die for one stamp set). I layered them in two and sewed on the machine. Then I folded them in a half a little to add the volume.
Then I added a couple of layers under the picture and sticked it with the foam tape. And added many sweet tiny embellishments and the title.
The second layout is clean and simple. Here I used again the old picture from the family album. I printed it in black and white (always a good decision, if the photo has bad colors and not sharped) and in a big size (near 6x8). As decorations I used here the fussy cut elements from the other side of the sheet I used on the first layout.
Have a good day and thank you for your attention!
