Altered Letter | Susi Becerra
Hello crafty friends! It's Susi here today on the Pinkfresh Studio Blog sharing with you a new project! Do you want to decorate your scraproom? I propose a fun idea to make your scraproom look nice! We are going to alter a cardboard letter using paint, stencils and beutiful embellishments from the gorgeous Happy Heart Collection.
Let's started!
First off, we'll need a cardboard letter. I chose the letter of my name, S is for Susi. Next, we are going to paint it using white acrylic paint. Apply two coats of paint to cover it. Once it has dried perfectly we are going to use the Dhalia Washi Layering Stencil with the inks from Pinkfresh Studio.
I used three colors: Olive, Ballet Slipper and Bubble Gum. I love how it turned out!
Super easy and funny! Now , we are going to decorate the letter using the beautiful embellisments from Happy Heart collection. I started by choosing elements from the Floral Ephemera, Puffy Stickers, Cardstock Stickers, Chipboard Frames...
I arranged the embellishments at the bottom right of the letter and at the top left. I used foam adhesive to give it dimension.
To finish I added Metallic Pearls: Gold. It's the bright touch! Love it!
And that's all! An easy project to decorate your desk, scraproom or what you want! I hope you liked it! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! See you next time!
