Advent Calendar | Susi Becerra

Advent Calendar | Susi Becerra

26 Nov 2020 0 Comments

Hello everyone! It's Susi here today sharing with you my very first project using the Oh What Fun! collection from Pinkfresh Studio.

One of my favorite projects at Christmas is the advent calendar. This year my daughter could not stay without it so this was going to be my first project no matter what. Oh What Fun! is the perfect collection to do it. It has  lots of die cuts, puffy stickers and ornaments.

To do the calendar I used a 12x12 white cardboard. I pulled out the Basic Label Frames Die set and using three sizes from hexagonal shape I drew 25 hexagons on the page.

I used the biggest size in the center of the page since it would be the one corresponding to Christmas day.

After that I cut five sides of each hexagon using a cutter and a ruler.

And here it is!

After that, I create a box with the Christmas Gifts 12x12 patterned paper. It's about making a box by adding tabs on the sides of the base. Also I add tabs to the base of the calendar to be able to stick it on top.
Now is the time for my favorite part, decorate the calendar!
I used the Basic Label frames die set to cut the hexagons from 6x6 paper pad. Next, I chose tons of embellishments from puffy Stickers, Ephemera Pack, andCardstock Stickers.
To do the numbers I used the Puffy Stickers Alpha from the collection and others from my stash.
Fill it with sweets and the little ones in the house will be happy. I hope you like it and inspire you to create your advent calendar. Merry Christmas!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
