A Layout And A Project Life Spread Using The New Collections

03 Feb 2016 0 Comments

Hello Pinkfresh fans! It's Adrienne here with you today with a layout I created using the new Felicity Collection and a pocket page/Project Life spread I created using the new Life Noted Collection

For my first project, I used the the Felicity Collection to create this fun layout of my daughter right after she lost her front tooth.

I used the diagonally striped patterned paper from the collection as my inspiration for the design of this layout. I wanted to align all of my elements on the same diagonal angle as the paper. I placed everything on a diagonal, except for my photos which I kept linear.

I really like how the photos stand out because I aligned them differently than the rest of the page elements. My daughter was so excited to lose her 3rd tooth since it had been over a year since she lost her first two. Her eyes were even still a little puffy from crying in these photos, but I think that helps tell the story even better than if I would have waited to take them the next day.

In the photo above, I cut out three triangles from another patterned paper piece from the Felicity Collection and wrote my journaling on the larger one.

I added a few word stickers and puffy sequins across my page for a more whimsical effect. I also placed a few die cut pieces on my page for added color contrast.

For my next project, I documented Weeks 49 and 50 of 2015 using the Life Noted Collection which is absolutely perfect for Project Life and pocket page style scrapping.

I kept my embellishments to a minimum and used several of the journaling cards from the Life Noted Collection that had a red and pink color scheme on them for this spread. In my 2015 PL album, I did a week per page, so I tried to keep the design and color scheme cohesive since they share a spread.

Week 49

I used the stamp set from the Life Noted Collection throughout my spread as well. I love how versatile it is and it's great for adding a little extra pizzazz to any journaling card.

Week 50

I love how the gold accents from the Life Noted embellishments add an extra twist to my color scheme.

The Life Noted Collection really made it easy for me to put my spread together for Weeks 49 & 50! I hope I've given you a little inspiration on how to use these two lovely collections and I hope you have a wonderful day!
