August 2026 Challenge: Beautiful Backgrounds

Happy August, Pinkfresh Studio fans! ✨ A fresh month means a brand-new opportunity to get creative, and we’re excited to see what you’ll create. Whether you love making cards, scrapbook layouts, journal pages, mini albums, or other paper crafting projects, we’d love for you to join in!

This month’s theme is Beautiful Backgrounds! Let your background take center stage and have fun exploring all the different ways you can add interest and creativity to your projects. You can create your own backgrounds with stencils, stamps, ink blending, mixed media, stitching, die cuts, patterned papers, and more. We can’t wait to see how you make your background shine, no matter the style you choose.

There are endless possibilities for this theme, so feel free to experiment and use the products and techniques you love most. We hope this challenge inspires you to look at backgrounds in a whole new way and create something beautiful!

Our monthly challenge is an Anything Goes Challenge: While the theme and colors are here to inspire you, feel free to enter any NEW project that primarily uses Pinkfresh Studio products. Whether you use the theme, the colors, both or none—it’s up to you. At the end of the day, we just want you to get crafty and have fun!

1. Create a new card, layout, journal/notebook page, mini album, DIY or any paper project. You can use the challenge graphic posted above as inspiration, but remember: you can submit any new project, as long as it was mainly created with Pinkfresh Studio. 
2. Post your project to your personal blog, Instagram or online gallery. Please make sure you link back directly to the challenge.
   
3. Add a direct link to your project using the InLinkz below.
4. You may enter up to 3 new, never seen before projects into our challenge each month.
5. Please make sure to leave a comment on this post! Feel free to tell us a couple details about your project, or mention some challenges you'd like to see in coming months.
   

Prizes:

One entry will receive a $50 gift card to the Pinkfresh Studio Store! All entries, both card and memory keeping, are eligible to win the prize.
