August 2025 Challenge

August 2025 Challenge

03 Aug 2025 3 Comments

August is here, and we can’t wait to see what you create! Whether you love scrapbooking, cardmaking, journaling, or working on mini projects, this challenge is the perfect opportunity to stretch your creativity and try something new. Let’s make it an inspiring month together!

This month’s theme is PATTERN PLAY. This month, it’s all about mixing, matching, and layering patterns! Stripes, florals, polka dots—anything goes. Use stamps, stencils, dies, press plates, or whatever inspires you. Create patterns by using just a part of a stamp or stencil, piece together die cuts, or come up with your own unique twist.

Quick reminder: You can enter up to 3 new, never-before-seen projects in each month’s challenge.

Check out yesterday's post for the June challenge winners and Top 3 Projects. Maybe you will be featured next! Ready to join the fun? Let’s get crafting!

We’re so excited to see how you incorporate the Pattern Play theme into your projects! For those inspired by the color scheme, here are the best matching ink shades: Coral Reef, Begonia, Lavender, Meadow, Marigold

✨ Remember: ✨
Our monthly challenge is an Anything Goes Challenge: While the theme and colors are here to inspire you, feel free to enter any NEW project that primarily uses Pinkfresh Studio products. Whether you use the theme, the colors, both or none—it’s up to you. At the end of the day, we just want you to get crafty and have fun!

Let’s see what you create! 💛

I’ve been trying to put together a card. It’s so much more challenging to incorporate some of the recommendations. Plus my body likes to give me fits 😂 I see the deadline looming while I still juggle 3 different designs in my old noggin. Hope to complete at least one so we’ll see. 🐌💪🫶

I love creating with repeat patterns and geometrics. Inspired by the turnabout range of products, which I don’t own yet, I made my own, using a Pinkfresh stamp to make a stencil. Perhaps Pinkfresh can come up with a layering stencil or a turnabout stamp?

I love how these colors look together on my cards. I gave myself an extra challenge—to use the same suite 3 different ways. For the first I used the stencils only. For the second, I paired the full suite with an ink blended pattern background. For the third, I used the full suite, made a pattern background, embossed in gold, and turned it into a full shaker card. So much fun! I hope you enjoy the challenge as much as I did!
