Hi, Pinkfresh Studio fans! It’s Kathleen here again and today I want to share a beautiful card made with products from our newest Artful Foundations release. One of my favorite product suites from this release is Floral Tale and I couldn't wait to create a card with it!

This suite offers so many options for combining elements and I love all the little details it includes, like the cut lines that add texture to the book and really highlight the look of individual pages!

Here's how to make this card:

1. Card Base & Panel:
   1. Cut (1) top-folding A2 card base & (1) A2 panel from white cardstock.
   2. Cut (1) A2 panel from light blue cardstock. Alternative: use white cardstock & ink blend with Sky Blue ink.
   3. Dry emboss the light blue panel with the Interlaced Quatrefoil press plate and adhere it to the card front.
2. Floral Tale:
   1. Ink blend the Floral Tale stencils on the white A2 panel:
      1. Stencil 1: Cherry Blossom (very lightly; a bit heavier in the center)
      2. Stencil 2: Spanish Moss (book), Sunshine (rest)
      3. Stencil 3: Misty Coast (book),  
      4. Stencil 4-6: Soft Lilac, Candy Violet, Cherry Blossom, Sparkling Rose, Raspberry Bliss, Apricot for the florals; Grassy Knoll + Key Lime for the leaves
   2. Die cut using the coordinating dies.
   3. Adhere the book slightly angled centered to the card front. Use foam adhesive behind the pages to add dimension. Tip: curl the book die cut slightly for a dimensional effect.
   4. Adhere the florals with a mix of adhesives, tucking some behind the book or in between the pages.
      For a fuller look, ink blend another set of florals & vary the colors.
3. Sentiment:
   1. Stamp a sentiment of your choice from the Heartfelt Chapters stamp with embossing ink & heat emboss with white detail embossing powder.
   2. Die cut & stack with (2) blank pieces.
   3. Ink blend with Cherry Blossom ink & adhere to the right side of the book.
4. Embellishing: Embellish the card to your liking, using Clear Drops in Ice or other coordinating colors (like Ballet Slipper or Champagne). Place them in the center of some of the ink-blended flowers.

I'm really happy with how this card turned out & it was so easy to add texture and dimension with this product suite. I hope you feel inspired by this project and maybe try your hand at a similar design!
