Framed Happy Blooms Florals | Dilay Nacar

Framed Happy Blooms Florals | Dilay Nacar

Hello, crafty friends! Dee here and today, I’m sharing a pair of cards that I created with the new Happy Blooms stamp set, coordinating stencils, and die! These two cards were created using one set of florals (one floral on each card) with different backgrounds for a clean and simple look! Let’s get started!

To begin, I stamped and heat embossed the Happy Blooms set then colored in the images with the coordinating stencils, using Fresh Pear for the leaves and Coral Reef, Lemon Whip, and Aquamarine for the flowers. Once complete, I die cut the images with the coordinating die and set them aside to work on the background for each card!

For the first card (just a hello), I die cut the Fancy Diagonal Stripes background die and adhered it onto an A2-sized card base, making sure to keep in all of the negative strips, then die cut the Fancy Oval Frame die and adhered that on top. Next, I die cut the smaller of the Braided Oval dies, stitched it with gold metallic embroidery floss, and adhered it in the center of the oval frame. Then, I picked one of the Happy Blooms floral images to adhere on top of the oval frame. To add a little more detail, I used the Curvy Leaves die to cut some leaves in white and tucked them underneath the floral image. As a finishing touch, I added gold metallic pearls for a little extra sparkle!

For the next card, I die cut the Stitches background die and adhered it onto an A2-sized card base, then die cut the largest circle from the Folk Edge Circles die set and adhered that to the center. Next, I adhered some white leaves cut with the Curvy Leaves dies directly onto the circle then added the other Happy Blooms floral image on top. Once again, as a finishing touch, I added some gold metallic pearls!

Of course, since no card is complete without sentiments, I gold heat embossed sentiments from the Just a Hello Floral stamp set, die-cut them, and adhered them to the cards with foam squares!

I hope that you enjoyed these cards and are inspired by learning about how I created them! Thank you so much for joining me today!

♡ Dee
