Happy Thursday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a fun “Birthday’’ card made using the latest Rustic Floral Wreath Die, Rustic Floral Wreath Layering Stencil Set, Happy Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set, Happy Birthday Sentiments Die Set, Curvy Leaves Die Set and a beautiful combination of PFS- Inks. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

To begin with, I started by creating the layered rustic floral wreath so therefore to do that, I started by lining up over an A2 standard size white card panel the Stencil #1 from Rustic Floral Wreath Layering Stencil Set and then, I went ahead to use an ink blending brush along with Fresh Pear Ink. Next, I kept going with the layered ink blending stenciling using Stencil #2 along with Grassy Knoll Ink, Stencil #3 along with Coral Reef Ink for the larger flowers and Aquamarine Ink for the smaller flowers, Stencil #4 along with Passion Fruit Ink to add the detailed layer for the flowers and last but not least, Stencil #5 along with Espresso Ink to add the center of the flowers and the contour rustic look for the wreath.

Thus, as soon as I had finished inking up each layer for the rustic wreath, I went ahead to add extra texture to it by sprinkling clear gloss embossing powder but, without using embossing ink as I wanted the clear embossing only to stick in some parts of the wreath to continue with the rustic look without having an evenly clear embossing layer once, I had it heat emboss using my heat embossing tool.

Moving on, as soon as I had finished the heat embossing over the rustic wreath, I went ahead to line up its coordinating die which happens to be Rustic Floral Wreath Die and then, I ran them thru my die-cutting machine to die-cut the wreath out of the card panel. That said, after having the die-cutting wreath out of the card panel, I went ahead to start the assembling for the card so, to do that first, I went ahead to adhere with double-sided tape a white-on-white textured card to an A2 side folding Kraft card base. A textured panel, which I had previously created by die-cutting a few curvy leaves out of white cardstock using one of the dies from Curvy Leaves Die Set.

Therefore, once I had the textured card panel over the card base, I went ahead to mount with foam square adhesives the rustic wreath over the card to add dimension and last but not least, to add even more dimension, I also went ahead to pop the sentiments up in the center of the card using more foam square adhesives. Sentiments, which I had previously stamped and heat embossing over white cardstock using Happy Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set and Happy Birthday Sentiments Die Set to die-cut the celebrate sentiment out of the white cardstock as well as gold cardstock to add a gold shadow to it (as you can see in the image above).

Finally, after having the sentiments in place, I went ahead to add a touch of sparkle by gluing down with liquid glue some clear crystal from Essentials: Crystal Mix.
