Hello Pinkfresh Friends,

this is Maria and today I share a slimline card with you I created with the gorgeous Diagonal Stripes Slimline Stencil from the latest release.

I started by die cutting my card front with a die from the Slim stitched rectangle die set.

Then I used the stencil first in one direction, then in the other, to create a check pattern in all the colors of the rainbow with the Pinkfresh Ink Cubes.

I’ve heat embossed the sentiment from the Thankful for friends Stamp Set in white on black cardstock. I diecutted it with a circle die from the Inverted Stitched Scallop Die Set. I also diecutted a slightly bigger circle and glued it on the back of the circle with the Sentiment.

Before I mounted the card front on the card base using foam tape I added some rustic twine and the circle with the Sentiment. A few jewels gives a bit sparkle and shine.
