Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends!

I am back on the card blog today sharing an alternative option to using the Garden Bouquet Washi Tape. Can you believe this card is exactly the same set but using the Garden Bouquet Stamp and coordinating stencils?

I absolutely love how versatile the Washi/Stamp/Stencil & Die sets are by Pinkfresh Studio. I have a lot of them and I don't know about you but, it depends how I feel on the day as to the colour choices I make when designing. 

Interestingly, when I was designing this one it was cool and rainy outside despite being July...I wonder if that is why I chose Fall colours?

Peach Fuzz, Apricot, Persimmon, Sweet Mustard, Marigold, Warm Buff & Doe.

The background needed some texture, so I pulled out one of my favourites from Pinkfresh Studio the Floral Lace Die. It adds the texture in a pretty way but does not take away from the floral images. 

I decided to just add a bit of colour to the edges after die cutting which is a nice way to bring in the colours together.

Remember not to overlook the sentiments on the slimline stamp sets as there are some beautiful statements. Look at the one I chose! Love it and it is sooooo true.

I heat embossed the sentiment using Pinkfresh Studio's Detail Black Hybrid Ink and clear embossing powder. The gives a crisp clean finish and really pops. 

Of course to finish, those background petals needed some bling so I added the Gold Glitter Drops.
