Hello and welcome! It's Kelly here today sharing a Christmas design using the fabulous new Pop Out Folk Christmas cling stamp! I didn't get a chance to use it during the release, so I've been itching to get it inky! I paired it with the super fun and cute new pattern paper from the Oh What Fun collection!
To begin, I stamped the entire image onto a panel of white cardstock and then used the coordinating Pop Out Folk Christmas die to cut it out. I colored the sweet images using an assortment of alcohol markers. I layered the colored die cuts onto the card using the negative panel as my guide. I used foam squares to give the card added dimension.
I couldn't resist adding a bow for some holiday charm! I heat embossed the sentiment, which is from the fun new Tree Trimming Friends stamp set, onto a strip of vellum and wrapped it around the main panel. The entire focal piece is adhered to a white A2 card base . I added some coarse crystal glitter to the edges of the greenery, the ornaments and birds for some sparkle and shine as well as a few Essentials: Jewels. I love how this card turned out and I had so much fun making it! These sweet images remind me of hand piped gingerbread cookies! Thanks for joining me today!
