Flower Garden | Caly Person

Hi, Friends!

This is Caly and I’m here to share a watercolor card using Pinkfresh Studios Liquid Watercolors today!

My card features a background image from the Flower Garden stamp set.  It’s a beautiful arrangement!  I began by stamping my image in black and using the liquid watecolors, I applied direct pigment to my image and used a damp brush to blend and pull that pigment out from the crevices.

After moving from one petal to the next and completing my coloring, I splattered my panel with white and black paint to give it some additional interest.  Once it dried, I trimmed my panel to mat my cardbase.

To finish, I stamped and embossed my image from the Simply Sentiments: Hello stamp set, trimmed it into a strip and attached it to my card using foam adhesive for foam adhesive.
