Hello Pinkfresh friends! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today with a spring-y floral card :) ! I used the pretty bouquet in an envelope from Floral Envelope set and placed it on a fresh background which was created using the Pop Out Nested Diamond cling stamp

To start I stamped the bouquet from the Floral Envelope set in Detail Black and colored it using the layering stencil set. For the first layer of the flowers I used Coral Reef and Apricot. The second layer was stenciled in Passion Fruit and Clementine. For the leaves I chose Mint and Meadow. I die cut the bouquet using the coordinating die and set it aside. Next I silver heat embossed the bow, stenciled it in Sunshine and Sweet Mustard and die cut it.

Next I stamped the diamond pattern using the three pop out stamps from the center of the Pop Out Nested Diamond stamp in Misty CoastSky Blue and Mint. I stamped them twice to create the pattern along a diagonal line. I ink blended the empty corners in Sunshine to add some fresh feel to the background.

As I didn’t want to cover the background with an envelope I decided to make it from some vellum. So I heat embossed the envelope from the Floral Envelop set on Vellum and cut it using the coordinating die. For more interest I cut the envelope also from the background panel and adhered the vellum envelope on it.

I adhered the background panel flat on a white cardbase, tucked the bouquet into the opening of the envelope and foam mounted it on its place. Before I added the bouquet to the card I decorated the background with some branch from some white die cut Curvy Foliage.

The vellum butterfly from the Small Butterflies set was hot foiled in turquoise and stenciled in Sunshine, Sweet Mustard, Clementine and Ocean Breeze.

The sentiment is from the Floral Envelope set as well. I stamped it in Detail Black. I finished off the card by adding some Sunshine Jewels.

That’s it from me for today. Hope you enjoyed looking my card!

Thanks for stopping by!

I took a closer look at the background – I thought it was patterned paper but I see you stamped it with that very clever stamp! What a great idea. Thanks for opening up the possibilities for me :-)

So pretty! I love how you’ve brought in the translucent elements. They really reinforce the delicate feel to the card. This is a beautiful composition of elements!
