Happy Tuesday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you this week a very elegant & delicate “Holiday Tag” inspiration set made using Essentials: Classic Tags with Fillable Elements Die Set to create de detailed and delicate tags. Along with this beautiful set, I’m also using Poinsettia Washi, Poinsettia Washi Die, Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Die and Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Hot Foil Plate to add the glimmering holiday touch to them + Curvy Leaves Die Set to add a subtle fuller look to the poinsettia clusters and last but not least, Artistic Bows Die Set, Partial Cut Bouquet and a Bow Die Set and Metallic Pearls -Gold to get the embellishment done for each tag. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them.

Therefore, I started off by placing down each tag including in Essentials: Classic Tags with Fillable Elements Die Set over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them through my die-cut machine. Next, I repeated this step a few times until I got a bunch of die-cutting tags done. This set includes 3 different tag shapes, and it has 13 dies that add delicate die-cutting details to them. Having that said, I went ahead to line up one of the intricate dies over the standard shape tag and I ran them through the die-cut machine.

Thus, as soon as I had finished adding the intricate die-cutting detail to the tag, I went ahead to get glue down the tag over one of the plain die-cutting tags and then, I started the tag assembling. As, for the tag assembling, I went ahead to mount on the right center of the tag some die-cutting poinsettia clusters, which I’ve got die-cut previously using white cardstock along with Poinsettia Washi and Poinsettia Washi Die. Along with the die-cutting poinsettia washi clusters, I also tucked in some translucent leaves for a subtle fuller look. Leaves, which by the way I’ve had previously die-cut out of translucent vellum using the dies including in Curvy Leaves Die Set.

Moving on, after having the poinsettia cluster mounted over the tag, I went ahead to mount as well a hot foil stamped sentiment which I got previously hot foil stamping over a large piece of white cardstock using Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Die and Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Hot Foil Plate along with a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass + my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine for the hot foil stamping process. However, I’d like to mention that this sentiment set also has the coordinating Perfect Sentiments: Holiday Stamp Set in case you’re not into hot foil stamping. Lastly, after having the sentiment mounted over the holiday tag, I went ahead to get it embellished by tiding a large piece of DMC in metallic gold and by gluing down a die-cutting bow, which I created by using gold cardstock and Partial Cut Bouquet and a Bow Die Set.

For my second holiday tag, I went ahead to add an intricate die-cutting detail in the lower side of the scalloped shaped tag and once I had that done, I got it glue down to another plain white die-cutting tag in the same way as I did for the first one. This step it’s just to add dimension as I could have left them see-through as well, but I ended up loving the finishing look added from the white-on white.

Therefore, I went ahead to create a second poinsettia cluster as well with some of the die-cutting washi pieces and then, I got it mounted in the upper left corner of the tag. Also, I tucked in some translucent die-cutting leaves for a subtle fuller look, and I also got tie up a large piece of DMC in metallic gold through the hole tag.

Lastly, I went ahead to get mounted one of the hot foil stamped sentiments in the lower right corner of the tag using square foam adhesives to add dimension, and then as simple as that my second holiday tag was completed.

For my last holiday tag, I went ahead to use rounded shaped tag. Thus, I went ahead to add the intricate and delicate die-cutting detail to the bottom part of the tag using one of the dies including in the set and then, instead of mounting in the sides of the tag the poinsettia cluster that I had created with the washi die-cutting pieces, I decided to get it mounted in the center of it.

Then, same as the previous examples, I went ahead to glue down the detailed tag to a plain die-cutting tag to add the same dimension as I did for the other two. Next, I continued I continued by tie it up through the hole of the tag a piece of DMC in metallic gold and then, I glue down a die-cutting and assembled gold bow to the top of the tag. A die-cutting bow which I’ve had previously created out gold cardstock using the dies from Artistic Bows Die Set.

As, this is the smaller tag out of all, I decided to add a sentiment as well, however instead of adding it over the poinsettia cluster, I decided to add it inside of it. So, to do that, I went ahead to score a line over the top side of one of the die-cutting plain white tags, and once I had that step done, I used narrow double-sided adhesive to adhere them down together. Lastly, as I mentioned earlier, I got glue down one of the hot foil stamping sentiments inside of the tag (as shown in the image above.)

Then to finish the whole set of holiday tags, I went ahead to glue down here and there some of the Metallic Pearls -Gold to compliment the shine from the washi and hot foil stamping.

Also, because I loved the finishing look from the last tag from the set, I decided as well to add a second tag to the back making that way all examples holiday tags/small note tag shaped cards if you will. And, with that being said, thank you for stopping by we hope you have enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this week’s elegant & delicate “Holiday Tag” inspiration set using an array of beautiful products by Pinkfresh Studio.

That gold bow catches my eye, and then all that white on white texture at the lower portion of the tag has me admiring the details.
