Delicate Floral Print | TaeEun Yoo

Hello Pinkfresh friends! Hope you’re having a great week so far! It’s TaeEun here today with a floral Thanks card. I used the Delicate Floral Print stamp set to create an overall patterned panel and added some interesting dimension using some of our dies.

To start off I stamped the Delicate Floral Print on a Neenah solar white panel in Detail Black and colored it using the coordinating layering stencil set. I stenciled the flowers in pink and yellow with Coral Reef, Passion Fruit, Marigold and Clementine. The blue leaves were stenciled in Sapphire and Stargazer.

After the stenciling was done I cut the panel with the large tag die from the Braided Tag die set. And I cut it again with the Arch Backdrop die to make a frame from it. I also cut the frame with the braid pattern die from the Braided Tag die set.

Next I ink blended the negative piece from the background panel in Blue Jay, after I masked the flowers. I then mounted the negative piece flat on a white cardbase.

The tag shaped frame was added using two layers of foam tape and the middle panel with one layer of foam tape.

The sentiment is from Lily Frame set. I heat embossed “thanks” in silver and added it to the card with some white branches which were cut using the Leafy Branch die. The long sentiment was heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock which I cut into a banner.

To add some bling to the card I embellished some flowers with Bubblegum and Sunshine Jewels.

That’s it from me for today. Hope you enjoyed looking my card!

Thanks for stopping by!

Dear patonslake,
The comment has no reply function, so I’ll answer your question here. Hope you’ll check this out :). To make the mask for the flowers I stamped the image on a scrap paper, placed some sticky notes on the flowers of the stamped image and stamped it again. I then cut the flowers on the sticky notes and adhered them on the flowers of my stenciled panel. Hope you’ll give this a try! Thank you so much ❤️!

Absolutely stunning, my friend! Just LOVE the bluejay with this pretty pink, and yellow! Time for me to grab that tag again – it’s definitely a favorite of mine!
