Blooming Branch | TaeEun Yoo
Hello and Happy Friday, Pinkfresh friends! Hope your October is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today with a floral card featuring Blooming Branch stamp set and Inna Alpha stamp, die and layering stencil sets from the latest release!
I thought from the new floral designs the Blooming Branch with smaller flowers would work perfectly for a DIY pattern. So I stamped the image two times on a A2 sized watercolor paper panel to fill the upper two thirds of it with the image. I stamped them in Detail Black ink to watercolor. Before I started stamping on my panel I tried it on a scrap paper to get a look I wanted. I watercolored the flowers in orange and pink and the leaves in yellowish brown and olive green. After watercoloring was done I ink blended the top of the panel in Sunshine, Marigold and Clementine. For a clean look I went over the outlines with a black fine liner and splattered white ink on the panel.
The letters from the Inna Alpha set were stamped in Detail Black and once again in an embossing ink and clear heat embossed. I then stenciled them using the layering stencil set. The letters were stenciled in Olive first. I then added Licorice on the lower half of the letters. For the small flowers I used Apricot, Sparkling Rose, Clementine and Bubble Gum and for the leaves I used the blending brush I used for the Olive ink very lightly. After done with stenciling I die cut them using the coordinating die.
I tore a vellum in a strip and ink blended one end of it in the same colors I used for the front panel. I flipped over the vellum strip and added it to the colored panel before I mounted the colored panel flat on a white cardbase.
I placed the letters on the vellum strip using foam tape and finished off the card with a few Sunshine Jewels.
That’s it from me for today! I had a blast making this card! Hope you like it too!

This is so pretty…those new letters are just so lovely and a great addition to the blossoming branches. They pair so well together.
