Happy Wednesday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you an “Encouragement” slimline card made using Be Courageous Stamp Set, Be Courageous Die Set and Be Courageous Coordinating Stencil Set. Along with Be Courageous set, I’m also using Diamond Plaid Layering Stencil Set. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it.

To begin with, I started by placing inside my Memory MISTI a large piece of white cardstock. Next, I went ahead to line up over the cardstock both stencils from Diamond Plaid Layering Stencil Set so therefore, once I’ve had them both line up, I went ahead to softly ink up the cardstock using Misty Coast Ink for a subtle look. Thus, after I’ve had finished inking the cardstock piece, I’ve gone ahead to remove the stencils and the cardstock out of the stamping tool.

Moving on, after I’ve had removed the inked cardstock out the stamping tool, I’ve quickly gone ahead to trim the edges off from it slightly smaller than the card base and then, I’ve gone ahead to get the backing adhered with double-sided tape to a W 3-5/8’’ X 8-1/2’’ inches white card base. Right after, that I’ve gotten adhered the card panel to the card base, I’ve gone ahead to set it aside and I’ve moved on to place another white card panel inside my Memory Misty stamping tool. Therefore, after I’ve had the cardstock inside the stamping tool, I’ve gone ahead to line up the floral frame from Be Courageous Stamp Set and once I’ve had it lined up, I’ve gone ahead to stamp the image twice using Misty Coast Ink.

So, after I’ve finished stamping the floral frame, I’ve quickly gone ahead to start the ink blending. Thus, for the inking I’ve gone ahead to use the coordinating stencils from Be Courageous Coordinating Stencil Set along with Misty Coast Ink for the leaves and Ballet Slipper and Peach Fuzz inks to color the flowers.

Right after that I’ve had finished inking it up the floral frame, I’ve gone ahead to line up over the inked frame the coordinated die from Be Courageous Die Set which helps to die-cut out the center of the frame. Therefore, after I’ve had them both line up, I’ve gone ahead to run them through the die-cutting machine. Thus, after I’ve had finished die-cutting the center from the frame, I’ve gone ahead to trim the edges off from the frame and once I’ve had that done, I’ve gone ahead to adhere with double-sided tape a piece of acetate. Lastly, after I’ve had finished adhering the acetate, I’ve gone ahead to adhere skinny pieces of craft foam tape to raise the level from the frame creating that way extra dimension for a shaker floral frame.

Last but not least, I’ve gone ahead to stamp and heat gold heat emboss a sentiment in the center of the floral frame using one of the sentiments from the stamp set along with embossing ink and gold embossing powder. Finally, after I’ve had finished heat embossing the sentiment, I’ve gone ahead to add Crystal sequins over the card panel and then, I’ve gone ahead to finish the slimline shaker card off by mounting the dimensional frame over it. With that being said, thank you for stopping by we hope you have enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve created this “Encouragement” slimline card showcasing these beautiful and whimsical sets by Pinkfresh. This card is absolutely stunning! I love the soft pastel colours! And also how the border is raised up.
