Hello again Pinkfresh Friends!

I'm back on the blog sharing some ideas to accent your designs using color frames.

For today's post I've chosen the delicate and gorgeous Humbled and grateful stamp set. These elegant and dainty blooms are perfect for slimline designs and also for using with geometric frames. I went with the Mini Slimline Frames dies today.

I started my design by gold heat embossing these flowers and applied color with the coordinating stencils using Fresh Pear, Olive and Emerald inks for the leaves and Coral Reef, Soft Lilac, Candy Violet, Regal Kiss, Apricot and Clementine for the blooms.

Since I had all my inks and stencils on the table, I went ahead and inked up two more gold embossed images of this stamp. I rarely have an idea of what my final design will look like so I prefer to have colored images on hand to have more options for my final designs.

Next up, I die cut these flowers with the coordinating dies and used the Slim Stitched die for my background. I wanted to create a mini slim card as the size of these blooms are perfect for that desgin.

I really like to add frames to my designs as I feel they somehow accent the images within the frame so I used the Mini Slimline Frame dies to die cut my frame out of dark green cardstock and foam mounted it onto the Slim Stitched background. Next up I arranged my sweet blooms within the frames cutting the excess and adding foam to pop them up. I also tucked some tiny leaves underneath these blooms cut out of white glitter cardstock using the Garden Wreath Die. Lastly I added some Sparkle & Shine Glitter Ombre Drops.

I just had to try another color combo so I inked up some more gold embossed images with Summer Shower, Seaside and Storm for the leaves and Soft Lilac, Candy Violet and Regal Kiss for the flowers.

For my background I simply dry emboss an A2 panel using the Geo Arch Hot Foil inking the bottom part of the panel with Soft Lilac ink. I foam mounted my flowers on top and die cut an arch out of dark blue cardstock using the Nested Arches dies.

I hope you like these ideas and give them a try if you haven't already done so.

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Raquel
