Hello Pinkfresh friends! Hope you’re all doing well and having a great start of the week! It’s TaeEun here today with a Sending Hugs card. My card features the beautiful Blooming Vines sets! I love the elegant curvy vines with the delicate details in the flowers and leaves! I used the image for a subtle background and also for my bold red floral focal point by cutting the images using the coordinating die!
I started by heat embossing the Blooming Vines in gold on Neenah solar white cardstock. I stenciled the image in red and brown combo using the Layering stencil set. The flowers were stenciled in Candy Apple and Regal Kiss. For the leaves I used Warm Buff and Doe. I added a bit of red ink to some parts of the leaves using the blending brush which I used to stencil the flowers.
After the stenciling was done I cut the entire image using the one piece die and set them aside.
To create the subtle pink background panel I chose a pale pink cardstock and heat embossed the Blooming Vines on it in white pearl embossing powder. I ink blended Coral Reef on the vines using the stencil for the first layer of the leaves. To tone down the color I went over the leaves again with a white pigment ink. I cut the panel using the largest die from the Folk Edge Rectangles die set and foam mounted it on a white cardbase. I then added the stenciled vine with the flowers and a vine which is diagonal to it to the card using foam tape.
I finished off the card with a few Sparkling Champagne metallic pearls.
I love that this cling stamp has the coordinating die so that you could use the individual image if you want!
That’s it from me for today. Hope you enjoyed looking my card!
Thanks for stopping by!
