I look forward to decorating cookies with my mom, my adult man boys, their girlfriends, my hubs, and my cousin. Hoping my mom is able to enjoy/eat some cookies this year as she continues to recover and improve from a partial glossectomy/tongue cancer in 2019.

This year in an effort to learn about other peoples celebrations we have decided to celebrate or observe Hanukkah as well as our regular Christmas celebrations. Our family is very excited to learn and I was lucky enough to have a childhood friend help us out with understanding all the details.
I look forward to hopefully being able to see my parents. Since the pandemic we have not been able to have a couple of scheduled visits since they live out of state and I am holding out hope that by Christmas it may be safe enough for them to travel again. It may be wishful thinking, but I think that is part of the holidays, making audacious wishes.
I am looking forward to visiting our daughter and family in MO – sure hoping that will be possible!!

Every year I host Christmas brunch – Eggs Benedict – for my kids and grandkids – looking forward to this again this year! My favorite paper in the collection is Home for the Holidays and I love the Puffy Phrase stickers!
