Happy hump day! I hope the week has been going well thus far, but if not, hopefully these cards brings a smile to your face. Or if you have someone that needs a little cheering up, I have a pair of cards today perfect to add a little sunshine to anyone's day!

I knew I wanted to work with the Aviary stamp set, so I started brainstorming my cards from there. The Pinkfresh style always inspires me to bring out my watercolors, and now that they have their own line of liquid watercolors, I find myself combining the two almost all the time!

I stamped all my images in Black Onyx Versafine ink, then I used the Pinkfresh liquid watercolors to watercolor all the iamges. For my first card, I also used the Fleur 1 stamp set to build a luscious field of flowers.

I die cut the bird and a spare branch of leaves with the coordinating dies. Then, added it to the card over foam tape. I finished the card with a sentiment from the Aviary stamp set.

For my next card,I used the Be You stamp set to stamp the floral background. Then, I painted to stripes across this background with watercolors. Then, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Aviary stamp set in white onto black card stock. I trimmed this sentiment down to a thin strip.

The sentiment strip gave my center piece images a place to sit on. I adhered it to my card with foam squares, added the cage and bird image above it, and arranged several flowers from both Aviary and Fleur 1 stamp sets around it. Hope both projects added some inspiration to your day!

These are just stunning!! I just bought this set (only had it for like 3 days now!) and I just hope that I can do even one little iota of justice to the set.
