With Love & Thank you, Framed Cards┃Yasmin Diaz

Happy Thursday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you the 2-ways that, I’ve used the Frame Builder: Botanical Triangle Die Set to create these With Love and Thank you simple framed cards. So, without further ado let’s jump to the step by step on how to make them.

To create both cards first, I started by selecting 2 patterned papers from the Just a Little Lovely : 6 x 6 Paper pack. Once, I had the patterned paper selected, I trimmed one of them down to H 5-1/4’’ x W 4.0’’ and I set it aside. Next, I ran through the my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine both dies from the Frame Builder: Botanical Triangle Die Set to die-cut them 6X each out of white cardstock. Also, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Thank you die from the Essentials: Classic Words Die Set to die-cut it as well 4X out of white cardstock. Lastly, to finish the die-cutting process for the first card, I lined up over a white card panel the 2 largest die from the Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set, and I ran the dies and the card panel through the die-cutting machine to create the detailed white frame.

Once, I’ve got all die-cutting pieces done, I stacked both botanical triangle pieces, and I also stacked the thank you creating that way dimensional die-cutting pieces. Right after, I played around a bit with the pieces trying to figure out the placement. As you can see in the image above, I ended up offsetting the botanical triangle over the patterned card panel. However, instead of glue down the pieces together, I left a small space in between to glue down the Thank you die-cutting as if was part of the triangle if you will. Lastly, to finish the frame off, I adhered over the card panel the white detailed frame with skinny pieces of foam mounting tape to create dimension. Finally, to finish the card off, I adhered the backing of the card panel with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. And as a finishing touch, I added Glossy Accent to the Thank you and I glued down here and there some of the white jewels from the Essentials: Jewels Mix for a sparkly/shine dimensional look.

To create the second card first; I trimmed down the second patterned paper that I have selected earlier to H 5-1/2’’x W4-1/4’’ then, I adhered the backing of the card panel with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Once the panel was adhered to the card base, I set the card base aside and I started the die-cutting process.

As for the die-cutting, I ran through the die-cutting machine the Essentials: Diagonal Stripes with Window Die to die-cut it 3X out of white cardstock. Once, I had the die-cutting frames done I stacked them all, and I glued the dimensional frame down with liquid glue to the card base. Lastly, I fussy cut out the flowers and leaves from the white botanical triangles die-cutting that I have left so, to do that I used small and very sharp scissors therefore, once they were fussy cut out of the frames, I created a cluster with them and I carefully adhered the bottom part of each of the die-cutting pieces with liquid glue to the left bottom side of the window frame. Finally, to finish the card off, I fussy cut the sentiment which, I had previously heat gold embossed on a piece of translucent vellum. (By the way the sentiment is part of the Scripted Bold Sentiments 1 stamp set.) And, as a finishing touch, I glued down here and there Pink jewels for an extra sparkly look.

With that being said, I hope you have enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created these With Love and Thank you cards showcasing beautiful stamps and dies by Pinkfresh Studio. If you get inspired don’t forget to tag us @pinkfreshstudio and use #pinkfreshstudio so we can see your projects!
