I did some watercoloring for my projects today using Pinkfresh Studio liquid watercolors. These watercolors are pretty vibrant and saturated, but as I always say I prefer more muted and soft colors. So, I mixed my own color palette to get a more interesting effect.
For my first card I’ve started by stamping beautiful floral cluster onto piece of watercolor paper with Antique Linen distress ink.
I mixed bright pink and yellow with brown and a little drop of black paint for the rose, and green, blue and black for the leaves. For these yellow flowers I mixed yellow with a little drop of brown paint. Once my coloring was done, I’ve added some highlights with white gouache and then splattered my panel with silver paint. The sentiment is from Layered Bouquet stamp set.
My second card is quite simple. I’ve stamped floral cluster onto piece of watercolor paper with clear embossing inks and white heat embossed. I watercolored the flowers and the leaves with the leftover paint from my palette and then splattered my panel with silver and gold paint. Next, I adhered my panel onto light grey card base with foam tape. The sentiment is from Layered Bouquet stamp set. To finished my card I’ve added clear sequins and crystals.
Hope you liked my cards! Have a great day!
